Sustainability & Resilience Global Data

Phillippa Halle-White

Updated: Dec 22, 2022

Industry Briefing: Number 12

The gathering of strategic collated data from across the global resilience industry continues, which started with over three thousand correspondents in August 2020. (Before vaccines, reoccurring lockdowns, travel passports, economic changes, Ukraine and the long run eco impacts on sustainability were recorded. The collected data comes from a wide range of sources and is processed by a team of over 200 analysts).

Perhaps most surprisingly, is the key trend indicators have only seen an 8.2% change in the two years of tracking, since the original synthesis of information came together heavily measured and signposted by previous regional impacts and recovery results (such as SARS, Swine & Bird Flu) which have impacted other economies and societal activities in isolated pockets. What was missing was the sudden improvement advantages economies not affected made during this crisis. In this, the eighth executive presentation by the Chair (outside government, regulator, industry bodies and contributors) four key areas will be covered - the economic impact road map, geopolitics, environment pressure, social and domestic direction trends, business preparations for 2023.

The briefing is scheduled online and in person in London on 18th November at the London School of Economics https://www.lse.ac.uk
